The United Arab Emirates will celebrates its 44th National Day this December 2, 2015. This is a proud celebration of uniting seven Emirates which was founded on 1971 under Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whom is the first president.

The Seven Emirates of the United Arab are Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain.

Different Activities are to be held, this includes a National Day Parade at the Downtown Dubai, a 7K Walk through Mahammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, sporting events as well such as Flyboard X Dubai World Cup, World Air Games, Masters of Dirt Rally and the Emirates Airline Rugby Sevens.

There will be a National Day Boat parade at the Dubai Marina Yacht Club.

As a first timer for this occasion, I find it very exciting and interesting on how this country is so proud of their achievements. I have so much admiration to how they have unified and created a very solid ground for growth and prosper for their people and for me as an expat.
